Meet the Wright Brothers Team – Kayleigh Moffett

There is no shortage of terrific talent working at Wright Brothers Aircraft Title. Last month we introduced one of our escrow agents, Gabrielle Stephens. In this blog you’ll meet another escrow agent, Kayleigh Moffett. Here’s what Kayleigh had to share.

1. How long have you worked at Wright Brothers Aircraft Title?

I’ve been working here for 10 years.

2. What do you like best about the work you do?

I enjoy the interaction with clients on a day-to-day basis. As an escrow agent, each day is a new and different experience. And although we do multiple transactions with many of the same clients, every aircraft is unique. The work is never boring.

3. Tell us about your background and why you became an aircraft escrow agent.

Growing up in Oklahoma, I’ve always had a love for aviation. In fact, my job as escrow agent at Wright Brothers is the first I’ve had since leaving school. I’m very fortunate that I’m able to work in an industry that has always held my interest.

I keep myself educated and knowledgeable about aviation so that I can excel at my work. It also will help me achieve my goal of becoming a pilot. I belong to Young Professionals in Business Aviation (YoPro), which is a National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) professional development group.

4. Can you tell us about YoPro?

There’s a new generation emerging as industry leaders in aviation. YoPro is a business group that helps young professionals gain entry into a profession in aviation through networking. It also provides professional development opportunities for members to keep us educated about this ever-changing field.

People can become involved by attending an event or by joining the YoPro Council. The Facebook page is the best way to see what’s coming up.

5. What advice would you give to students or young professionals who are interested in a career in aviation?

This industry is built on relationships. Consider joining YoPro or another group like it. You need to get involved in an industry organization to make good connections. It’s a key to success. I have many professional relationships that I’ve made with people throughout the industry at work and at YoPro events.

Immersing yourself in the community will also help you find your niche within it. There are many different specialty areas within the aviation industry.

6. Please share a little about yourself.

I’ve been married for nine years. My husband and I are building a new home. We both enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and biking.
